Arts District Brewing Company, one of Los Angeles’ few craft brewpubs, opened December 2015 in Downtown LA’s historic Arts District.
With an on-site, 15-barrel brewhouse capable of producing 3,300 barrels of beer each year, Arts District Brewing Company debuted with nine original beers and now offers 30+ all brewed on-site, ranging from golden ales to stouts to IPAs.
The 17,000 square-foot space also features a full bar with a sprawling main room which can house as many as 500 guests, an outdoor patio with a capacity of 120, and a private room with it’s own private bar, patio, and A/V. The brewpub also includes an expansive entertainment area with a photobooth and multiple classic bar games available, including pinball and 15 restored vintage Skeeball machines.
A native to LA County, Dave has a lifetime’s experience in machining and metal fabrication, which has fueled multiple technical hobbies. His interest in beer started in 2010 with an introduction to Trappist ales, and the homebrewing obsession started soon after. He has worked with Arts District Brewing since opening in December 2015.
